Based on physiognomy, hairstyle, scarification marks and body formation, this figure can be located in the Kpwazang region and can possibly be assigned to a master “Tage from Kpwazang” (cf. Strybol, 2018, fig. 49-51 and AHDRC 0098314).


The object Anthropomorphic figure “jagana” with the object ID 3052006 was last part of the auction Auction 104 at April 12, 2025 on Zemanek-Münster Auction house. The object with the lot number 319 achieved a sales price of EUR 2,500.
