Based on physiognomy, hairstyle, scarification marks and body formation, this figure can be located in the Kpwazang region and can possibly be assigned to a master “Tage of Kpwazang” (cf. Strybol, 2018, fig. 49-51).


The object Anthropomorphic figure “jagana” with the object ID 3048244 was last part of the auction 97th Auction at November 6, 2021 on Zemanek-Münster Auction house. The object with the lot number 246 achieved a sales price of EUR 1,600.
