Description

wood, matt greyish brown patina, remains of shiny black patina in some places, tube-like bent corpus with the upper endings in shape of human heads touching each other with the back of their heads, striking fine and accurate carved decor (hairdo, beard), cross- and plaited band patterns at the base, endless-knot motif at the coiffure, delicate incised decor even at the broad rims of the receptacle, collection number handwritten in white paint at the bottom: “K291 218-…” (unreadable), slightly dam. (ears), abrasion of paint, used patina
