wood, encrusted patina, polychrome paint, a vaulted calotte with raised forehead ridge, pointed mouth, surmounted by slightly curved, notched horns, the whole facial plane decorated with incised or painted patterns, pierced around the rim, min. dam., traces of insect caused damage, minor missing parts;
the masks of the Bobo have totemistic character, they are part of the genesis myths of the clan they belong to.
