Malagan figures from New Ireland are among the most artistic sculptures in Oceania. Works that, like Pacific art in general, are highly valued by collectors and artists alike because of their incredible and artistic creativity.

We are pleased to be able to present historical Oceanic and Pacific art from German private collections in our upcoming autumn auction on November 11th. Malagan figures of high museum quality from the Alexander Kubetz estate, high-quality South Sea clubs from Fiji and Samoa, paddles from the Australs-Islands from a 19th century collection, as well as fine Maori art.

The Africa objects include works from the collection of the Frankfurt artist Bernhard Jäger. The overall offer concludes with a fine collection of historical jewellery from North Africa from the Dieter von Reininghaus estate.
