Luciano first visited the Philippines in 1978 with his Japanese wife Mayumi. They spent six months there, mainly in the mountain province of Luzon, where they collected many interesting pieces. From 1978 to 1984 he made at least more ten trips, travelling throughout the country.

Schweres hochwandiges Behältnis auf vier Füßen. Der Deckel in flachem Relief beschnitzt mit Echsenmotiv. Seitliche Handhaben in Form von anthropomorphen Gesichtern.
Die eingeritzten Zickzack-Muster am Korpus belegen, daß sich das Gefäß einst im Besitz eines Kriegers befand.
